Prohibited uses

- Lawn irrigation using sprinklers or automatic irrigation systems — during the restricted hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Vehicle washing — during the restricted hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Washing exterior building surfaces, parking lots, driveways, or sidewalks — during the restricted hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Exceptions
- Vehicle washing — at commercial car washes; when necessary for operator safety.
- Watering newly established lawns and plantings — during the months of May and September.
- Watering lawns, gardens, flowers, and plants using a handheld hose.
- Water use by businesses — when water use is a core function of their operations.
