Watering schedule
- 1 watering day per week — Water on your street’s municipal pickup day. Water before 9 a.m. or after 5 p.m.
- 7 watering days per week — Water before 9 a.m. or after 5 p.m. Ornamentals and flower gardens by drip irrigation, hand-held hose, or watering can.
Rule details
- Restricted use: nonessential outdoor water use — no more than one day per week; before 9:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m.
- Prohibited use: outdoor watering — between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on all days.
Exceptions
- Water used for health and safety purposes.
- Irrigation to establish newly seeded or sodded lawns or plantings — during May and September if the order remains in effect.
- Irrigation of newly planted lawns — homes or businesses newly constructed within the previous twelve months.
- Agricultural operations — including maintenance of livestock, crops, and vegetable gardens.
