Watering schedule
- Assigned days — North Region, odd number properties: Monday. North Region, even number properties: Tuesday. South Region, odd number properties: Wednesday. South Region, even number properties: Thursday. Water before 9 a.m. or after 5 p.m.
Restricted uses
- Non-essential outdoor water use.
Exceptions
- Irrigation to establish a new lawn and new plantings — during the months of May and September only.
- Irrigation of parks and recreational fields by automatic sprinklers — outside the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Irrigation of gardens, flowers and ornamental plants — by means of a hand-held hose, soaker hose or drip irrigation system.
- Irrigation of lawns — by means of a hand-held hose only.
- Irrigation with harvested and stored storm water runoff.
- Water use for health and safety reasons.
- Water use required by regulation.
- Water use for production of food and fiber.
- Water use for maintenance of livestock.
- Water use to meet the core functions of a business.
- Irrigation of newly planted lawns — seeded or sodded in the current calendar year; homes or businesses newly constructed in the previous twelve months.
