Mandatory schedule and use limits

Watering schedule
- Watering-hours schedule — Water from 5 p.m.–9 a.m. Nonessential outdoor water use.
- Assigned-day watering schedule — Allowed weekdays: Tuesday, Thursday. Water from 5 p.m.–9 a.m. Automatic underground sprinkler systems.
Restricted uses
- Vehicle washing — outside commercial car washes.
- Washing building exteriors, parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks — except when needed for surface treatments.
Exceptions
- Lawns, gardens, flowers, and ornamental plants — hand-held hose.
- Irrigation to establish new lawns or plantings — in May and September.
- Irrigation of public parks and recreational fields — outside the daytime restricted hours.
