Watering schedule
- 1 watering day per week — Allowed weekdays: Wednesday. Water before 9 a.m. or after 5 p.m.
Restricted uses
- Nonessential outdoor water use.
- Lawn irrigation via sprinklers or automatic irrigation systems.
- Vehicle washing — except in a commercial car wash; as necessary for operator safety.
- Washing exterior building surfaces, parking lots, driveways, or sidewalks — as necessary to apply surface treatments such as paint, preservatives, stucco, pavement or cement.
Exceptions
- Irrigation to establish a new lawn and new plantings — during the months of May and September.
- Irrigation of gardens, flowers, and ornamental plants — by means of a hand-held hose with a spray nozzle that will shut off; by drip irrigation systems.
- Irrigation of lawns — by means of a hand-held hose with a spray nozzle that will shut off.
- Water uses required for health and safety, regulation, food and fiber production, livestock maintenance, or core business functions.
- Irrigation of gardens, flowers, and ornamental plants — by means of a hand-held hose with a spray nozzle that will shut off; or drip irrigation systems.
- Lawn irrigation — by means of a hand-held hose with a spray nozzle that will shut off.
