• Water use by permit, license, statute or regulation.
• Water use for the production of food and fiber — including vegetable gardens.
• Water use for the maintenance of livestock.
• Water use for core business functions — functions essential to commercial operations.
• Irrigation of public parks — before 9:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m.
• Irrigation of public and private recreation fields — before 9:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m.
• Irrigation of publicly-funded shade trees and trees in the public right-of-way.
• Water use to establish a new lawn — necessary to stabilize soil in response to new construction or following the repair or replacement of a Title 5 system.
• Private irrigation wells — not required to follow the water conservation measures.
